Job Description
Commis Chef
Job purpose
To work on all sections to ensure the company / legal standards are maintained and to co-operate with all staff and management to provide a smooth and efficient service.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of food as required
To work in a safe and hygienic fashion and to adhere to all health and hygiene regulations.
To carry out work at a sufficient rate to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Kitchen
Work on all stations by the rota or senior chef
To ensure that there is sufficient preparation of food items to avoid interruptions to service.
To ensure temperature and delivery checks are carried out and recorded
To be aware of product cost and GP margins.
